Big Wide World - Web Quest
This web quest is for K - 4th Grade students. It relates to understanding how such domains as science and the humanities relate to the world around us by engaging students in critical and holistic thinking, following a formal web quest structure. Children's Book Council of Australia The main objective of the Children's Book Council is the encouragement of children's reading. OzLit This resource, for teachers and students interested in Australian literature. World School Network Created for schools and students, the World School Network has been designed to promote communication and exchange with schools and students all over the world, regardless of geographical location. Harvard Style Examples This page from the Monash University library gives examples of how to correctly cite sources including books, chapters, journal articles, web pages and conference papers. World Links for Development (WorLD) This program of the World Bank Group provides Internet connectivity and training for teachers, teacher trainers and students in developing countries in the use of technology in education. WorLD then links students and teachers in secondary schools in developing countries with schools in industrialized countries for collaborative learning via the Internet.
