SUNDAY TRAINING AND MAINTENANCE NOW COMMENCING 0900
JANUARY 2008: QUIET FIRE SEASON- Erowal Bay along with most of New South Wales have experienced a very quiet fire season to this point. The only responses have been for incidents involving motor vehicles alight, which is very unusual for summer. In any other year bushfires would be the majority of a summers emergency reponses and we haven't been called to any since the summer started.
DECEMBER 2007: SYDNEY STORMS - Three Erowal Bay Brigade members travelled to Sydney's west to assist with the securing of some of the 4 000 homes damaged in a severe hail storm that hit the area recently. They used Hyams Beach 7 Fire Truck for the trip away leaving Erowal Bay 1 for any incidents in while they were away. They left on Friday afternoon and returned from Sydney late on Sunday. It was an amazing sight, seeing the roof's of whole streets covered in tarpaulins.

DONATIONS : Erowal Bay Rural Fire Brigade is a volunteer brigade in the Shoalhaven district of NSW, where we are willing to assist anyone anytime. However, our volunteers have also given up their time and incurred wage loses
and costs to themselves serving
communities in and beyond our district. In the past eighteen months we have had members travel to the Fires at Boorowa and Mt Weddin in Western NSW. And our fire truck travelled to the Victorian fires for a five day deployment and travelled a round
distance of over 2 500 km. We have assisted in more recent STARG Strike Teams once again to Victoria, to the NSW snowy mountains Long Plain Fire, Dubbo Fires and Sydney Storm damage assistance Any help that you could offer the brigade to purchase equipment and keep the brigade training and other resources up to date would be most appreciated. For further details on how to donate please use the contact page
