WORST WALK - Sandiman Head in the heat (October)
TOUGHEST WALK - Day one of the Overland Track - On a hot humid day we ascended to Marions Lookout and then climbed Cradle Mountain, plus the longish walk to Waterfall Valley. Any wonder I suffered from heatstroke.
MOST DISAPPOINTING WALK - Ejected off Brooks Plateau (with 18 other Shoalhaven Bushwalkers) by NPWS as they were doing a Hazard Reduction burn in the area - we received this news just 45 minutes into the walk.
TOUGHEST ASCENT - Cradle Mountain in the heat
BEST VIEW - Looking down Pinestone Valley from Mt Doris on the Overland Track to grand views of Cathedral Mountain and the Ducane Range on a clear sunny day
BEST CAMPSITE - Kia Ora Campsite on the Overland Track
WORST CAMPSITE - Pelion Plains Camp in the rain - Leech-fest
NASTIEST BEASTIES - The Thieving Possums on the Overland Track
