MOST ENJOYABLE DAY WALK - Christmas Bush Trail (near Yalwal west of Nowra) - a one day walk that had almost everything, good open walking trails, inspiring cliff top views, an interesting rock tunnel, a steep scrambling descent and some challenging off track - and done with the On-Track walking group

WORST WALK - One day recce of McKenzie Trail near Yalwal - entire trail badly overgrown and I suffered from heat stress

WORST WEATHER - The heatwave conditions for McKenzie Trail

BEST VIEW - Waterfalls in full flow on the Royal Coast Walk (A rarity in recent years)

BEST CAMPSITE - Sealers Cove at Wilsons Promontory

BEST CAMPING CAVE - The rarely visited caves on the western end of Mount Haughton

NASTIEST BEASTIES - The flies at Abrahams Bosom - resembled an alpine walk in the height of summer, even though it was only early spring

MOMENT OF PURE INSPIRATION - Any Solo hike that gives great views, provides wildlife sightings and the peace and quiet of walking alone

LOITERING WITH INTENT - Any of the wildlife that frequents the campsites at Wilsons Promontory (these include Crimson Rosellas, Crows, Magpies, Bush Rats and Possums)
