The IFHAA Australian Genealogy Chat Sessions are a forum for Australian Genealogists and Family Historians and others who are actively researching Family History in the Australia/pacific region. It is intended to provide a venue for you to put forward details of your research problems/deadends and to receive research assistance from other researchers.

To participate, direct your IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client program to the following :

Server  Port  Channel  Date  Time

irc.iigs.org 6667 or 7000 #Australia Every Saturday. 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, 9pm Eastern standand Summer time, 6pm West Australian Time, 10am Greenwich Mean Time.

A different theme (or topic) is selected each week, however, off topic questions are encouraged as well.
