Search & Rescue: We are often asked to assist the
police with searching for lost people in remote areas.
We have teams of trained personnel who, with incredible
loyalty to their community, get out of bed at all hours to head off into
the bush to commence a search at first light.
We do not get equipment supplied by the authorities for
this type of role as it is not one our primary functions.
We use the best equipment we can afford for the protection
and safety of our personnel. This includes heavy duty Gortex jackets and
pants, Polypropylene thermals and Polypropylene fleece jackets.
We have a dedicated Search & Rescue Trailer fully
loaded and ready to go. So all we have to do is turn up with our personal
gear and go.
